I am just wondering, more for girls opinions, is it a good thing to be thought of as cute, if your a lad? Im only asking as quite alot of girls say that im cute lol.

Is this a good thing to have, especially when your out hoping to get chatting to a girl?

Thanks in advance for any replies xx

hehehe! i know what you mean... i don't like it when girls call me cute!

luckily it doesn't happen a lot  i liked it when i was 10... but i guess now i'd prefer "handsome" or "sexy" or something along those lines...

i'm not a girl, but i would think it's not really a bad thing. cute guys can have good hearts, be caring, passionate and considerate, just like a muscular hunk be that as well.

it doesn't really say anything... except that you're not a huge muscular hunk! :p

It would seem the younger you and the girls are, the more you can get away with being 'cute' and still see positive results from that. If you are older, and are getting called 'cute' - then that says more about how they see you as a person than how they see you physically.

How old are you?

I call alot of guys cute and that in my definition means that they're attractive. I wouldn't come right out and call a guy sexy unless I'm drunk :p.

But cute has its own qualities.

No. It means you are harmless little bunny. Eeeew. I know. She can cuddle the bunny but cant imagine the bunny doing her doggy style on kitchen sink.

I get called cute now and again, I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or not, I suppose it's both good and bad depending on the person.

If you're hoping it means you'll get laid, probably not. I get that alot too. Kind of like a puppy dog. I guess that might mean nice to cuddle with. I used to get the cheeks pinched and all that jazz.

I have the best results when I'm called handsome (which doesn't happen very often, lol).

Hmm it can be good, some girls give the it different meanings,

sometimes there is a "He's cute....but I wouldn't go out with him" (HELLO Friend Zone)

and theres the "Yeah he's cute!" (Hot)

so depending on her enthusiasm you should know...

I don't mind being called cute, much rather be "rugged" or "sexy" but what are you gonna do! Sometimes I get weird things like "sensitive goodlooks" I mean what is that?

well im a gym goer lol, and i am quite muscular lol, but its more my smile ive been told. Its a sort of cheeky smile i guess. Im not really bothered by this btw, i was just curious to what girls mean by "cute."

But i guess like anything, you cant say it means one thing, everyone has their own opinions/views on things. Thanks for the replies guys/gals. x

Calling yourself a 'lad' is pretty cute.

Just noticed you're from England, so disregard the previous post! That word is less commonly used in my parts, I think.

I just looked at your profile to see your age. At 19, cute is good! You're going to remain younger looking than your compatriots, well into your forties. Enjoy it!

Well youngandhopeful, as long as it not chaps calling you cute eh?

If you don't want it to happen tell them to **** off! That'll kill the cute thing :)

But seriously don't worry about it, you will grow out of the cute stage like we all did. I'd loved to be called cute now, instead of an old fart.

Hopefully they won't call you pen!s cute, that would be humiliating. :o

I've been called 'cute', and I have wondered the same thing before myself. I think whether you remain just cute or become more than cute depends on how you behave. If you're cute and you behave in a kind of harmless, youthful manner then girls are more likely to label you a cute friend but not much else. On the other hand, if you can carry yourself in a mature way, you can be the right kind of cute.
