NC377
This guy has been contacting me to go out for lunch, movies, dinner. Not sure if I'd call it dating. Sometimes we hang out alone and other times with this mutual friend. I wouldn't consider him a good friend. More a person to hang with. Anyways, every time we try and get together lately, it seems like a lot of work. The last time we tried to get together, I invited him and our mutual friend over for dinner. A couple of days before, he asks if we can meet earlier so he and our mutual friend can leave early to go somewhere. I was a bit pissed cause when people usually come to my place, they don't just come over for an 1 1/2 and then leave, unless of course we are all going to a movie/concert after. But we were not. Just get this instinct that he doesn't live up to my definition of a friend. I think he is getting the hint that I don't want to hang because I'm saying that I'm always busy. I don't want to play games, but don't really know how else to explain it to him. He hasn't done anything horribly dreadful, but he does things that my other friends don't do (ie. always call last minute to get together, goes to see a movie by himself and leave me outside the theatre when all the tickets get sold out & I get there just before the movie starts).
