Just make sure you don't send any money in advance.. watch for the scams.. Order C.O.D. I had a fling on a trip down south with a young Russian, now living in New York.. he was hawt.

Lots of practical information. My posts are back in 1998-99. IMO, better to meet ladies through list members' contacts. Also, you can find good deals on apartment rentals. I think a number of expats still post, so good practical local info. I have no experience with Russia, but spent some time in Ukraine. Still have the old Pimsleur tapes if you're interested in learning the language. The ladies I met through my contacts were very nice and sincere. One is now married to an American and lives in WI. The other still practices law in Lviv and has visited us twice here in Cali. I talked to her on ICQ a couple months ago. She's still single and has her own apartment and car, which is rare in Ukraine for a woman

danavladeem Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Russian women, when they decide to get married, it is done with purpose. No dicking around. They are nice, loyal, smart, but are not push overs. However, remember there are bad apples everywhere. Anyhow, I know, I have part Russian heritage.

Very refined, cultured and yet pragmatic and assertive in taking care of their families (men are fewer and, well, many like their vodka a bit too much). With that they just have a radiant beauty and feminine mannerisms which have little to do with classic good looks. I guess it's just a genetic thing I responded to, since my ancestors are Russian. Both the men and women were very open and emotional with me as a relative stranger, which I loved. The guys really watched out for me. Oh, the stories I could tell
