If a guy only wants sex and you make him wait, he will grow impatient and leave you, or he will go behind your back and meet other girls, but his true colors would show. I'm a guy and I have emotions. It is good filter. But come on. It takes a few dates to tell a notch collecter from interested guy. And it is frustrating. Any guy who says he doesnt mind is in denial. And it is insulting because she is telling you "I dont trust you yet" Sex is powerful interest level booster. When a girl is torturing guys she might piss off some not so patient guys and end up with someone who will divorce her in 10 years anyway. And sex is not a tool or bribe or prize or shouldnt be.

Sometimes a guy is good at hiding his true self. It doesn't always just take a few dates to tell the difference. It could take longer. Trust is earned, you don't get it from the beginning. If a person is that impatient for sex, then they aren't so great of person to begin with.

I realize it will be different in each individual case, but do men get emotional about it? Or are they still checking out other babes and taking it slow? I think he's thinking about his sexual performance... Was I good? Did she like it? Or he's thinking about how good|bad f*ck she is.. but my guess is that the first one was his first thoughts.. I don't have a male brain.. or do I? I tend to think like a man when it comes to sex..

Trust has to be there already If a person is that impatient for sex, then they aren't so great of person to begin with. Maybe he really likes her and want to connect on all levels. I agree it takes time to know each other to see if the two are compatible other than bed side. But you dont have to be 100% sure. Just 60%. Some may eventually see it and some never will. Trust has to be there already To an extent. Lots of people won't sleep with someone until they trust the other person and trust that the other person is STD free and trust that the other person won't run off after sex. Maybe he really likes her and want to connect on all levels. True, but he also has to see it from her POV.

I'm a guy and I have emotions. But what I am saying is he easily could have gotten it elsewhere but he wanted to be with me so he waited. It wasn't that long...maybe 2 weeks max. I just wanted to be exclusively committed to him...as a girlfriend...and not just a hook-up buddy. He told me I am not the greatest at it. I respect that actually b/c it allows me to ask him what he likes so I can improve on it and make it better. It also shows me that he is with me for me, not for the sex.

The question then stands.....how long does it take for love to develop to a level when it is able to conquer your phobias about STDs, fears about your ego and insecurities about your body? Maybe it takes too long for some people than the love takes over. My personal stance: Sex after 3 - 10 dates or never. If it takes more than two months it will never work.

I think that TBF means that meaningless sex is having sex with someone whom she has no feelings for, in a romance sense. To me, the STD phobia will go away after I see the results of the test that they take before I have sex with them.
