Jen17 Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Ok, here is my story; I have fancied this guy for quite a while now, but have never been able to actually speak to him or anything as he is always with his mates whenever I see him. I was chatting to one of his friends the other day, who is also a friend of mine. He said he would point me out to him and see whether he was interested or not. After the pointing out, he said 'yeah she is alright...bit of a looker!' His friend later that week passed on my number to him, later that night this guy text me and we had a chat. He said he didnt really know who I was but couldn't see any harm in chatting and finding out. I text him later that week to see how he was, but he didnt text back. I was gonna see him that afternoon, we were both in the same bar. I was chatting 2 his friend later that night and asked him what the score was between us. He said that the other day he said you were hot. I said so is he seriously interested and he said from what he has told me he is. So i decided to text him again later that night after I had seen him that afternoon...he replied straight away! He asked me if I had a good day, and what I was up to that night etc...loads of questions. That was Saturday- I haven't heard anything since. Is he interested? What do I do?

Now you need for him to take initiative - cause you obviously dont have a clue what to do next I would text him."Hi Mark, Im really glad I met you and I would like to spend an evening with you to chat and know more about each other. I would be honoured if you asked me out this week or next." It gives him the intiative. It doesnt sound too clingy, needy or insecure, maybe a little old school but thats funny/showing manners. And he has a dead line. After that dead line he is either not interested or soft in the head and you are free of worries.
