Issues & tissues Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I dreamt about my ex the other night and when I woke up my eyes were swollen and red from crying. Anyone else ever cried in their sleep? Oddly enough, I began to feel a lot better a few days after that.
smoochie Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I dream about my previous ex. And everytime that I do, its a good dream. I really wish things could have worked with him, but he is mentally crazed. I don't think I have ever dreamt about this past guy. We weren't together for very long either so that may have something to do with it. I still wake up thinking about him though. And it pisses me off. The simple fact that he is probably with some else and here I am, with him consuming alot of my thoughts. He could care less about me and I am still reading his work online...how pathetic of me. I will see him tomorrow probably. It will be the first time in three weeks. I was praying that I would be totally over him by now and although I don't have that pit in the bottom of my stomach anymore, I still can't get him out of my mind. I want to meet other guys now..I am so ready for that.
sedgwick Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 In British English, yes. In American English, the past participle of "dream" takes the normal "-ed" ending. Same with a bunch of other verbs like "spell". One of the many differences between the British and American dialects of English. Dear Sedona, you are awesome, please to run away forever with me, love Sedgwick.
sedona Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Dear Sedona, you are awesome, please to run away forever with me, love Sedgwick. Oi, oi, oi. An exotic bellydancer asking me to run away with her! That's only happened to me once before.
MalachiX Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Had a dream last night of my EX. I don't quite remember what it was about though I know it wasn't a nice one. Something along of the lines of her telling me rather harshly that we'll never get back together and to stop hoping for it (can't remember the context).
Author loveinlife Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 Debating trying to take a drill to my head to bore them out. You? I just had my 3rd dream today, lets go back to where it came from: 1st dream was short, she was with another guy... same guy i in real life who was with her at a club. next night, i dreamed that my ex told me she has a boyfriend. then last night, she was living by herself and i was trying to get back with her. she hesitated for a lil, but we ended up sleeping together and we were physically together for the whole time. we weren't officially getting back but it looked like we might... I haven't spoken to my ex for 2 weeks. this is the same girl i was gonna get married but things happened like her father passing away about 4 months ago... she then pushed me away from her gradually. im not sure, just stressed out and still care about her. but im giving her some space cause she told me to move on to find someone better. =/
Issues & tissues Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 (edited) My ex has been a lot on my mind lately and naturally I dream about him. Like some other posters on here, last night I dreamt that my ex and I had spent a great day together and then I woke up - just as we were about to get intimate. What is that all about? Could it be that subconsiously I still desire him and want him to be in my life but also know that any reconciliation would be a bad idea? Anyone else have any theories on why we dream that we are having sex (or about to have sex) with the ex? Edited April 6, 2008 by Issues & tissues
