Advocate's Devilette Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I am a teacher and have a crush on another teacher at school who is very single. He usually says Hello, How are you doing? in the hallway. Well, it is getting to be 4th quarter and I have decided that I want him to notice me more and I would like to date him if possible. So, here is what I did. He is in charge of the yearbook kids and I missed the day they took photos of the teachers. So I walked into his room the next day (I have never done that) and looking very cute in a cute (yet professional) outfit stated "Hi, Jeff. You know, I was gone yesterday for teacher yearbook photos and interviews." He stated 'Oh, don't worry, we'll get you in. I'll let you know and have a student come and get your picture and interview." I then said "i used to do yearbook." He stated "Yes, it's a chore but they are good kids to work with." I then stated "I'm not sure if I want my picture out there floating around on the internet." HE said "Oh, well we can put another picture if you want, not of yourself." So I stated "So you can put a supermodel's picture instead of mine." He kind of laughed. I was cringing at my bad joke inside. He then said "sure" I turned a little red and walked out. So did I blow it with this guy? I have caught him checking me out before and another teacher told me he never said "Good morning, how are you?' to her, just 'hi.' So she thinks it is possible he has noticed me and possibly likes me, too, since she doesn't say that to her. Just hi.
