themessenger
According to DanielMadr in a conversation about traits that turn woman off; he feels that it doesn't matter the important thing is you make her melt and wet. If you don't do that she will find a million things she doesn't like about you. I have to admit there may be some validity to this theory. Maby this is why women go back to guys that have traits they complain about. Maybe they have undesirable traits yet they make the women wet. Something that apparently nice guys have a hard time achieving. So what traits about men make women melt and wet?

Lizzie60
What makes me melt and wet: - intelligence - well-off financially (aka filthy rich) - confident - classy, suit & tie - fit and well groomed or I can do the other way: - intelligence - well-off financially (hard worker) - confident - rugged in jeans and tee shirts - just out of the shower and smelling good.. huummmmmmmmmm

DanielMadr
The scientific answer? Scent. Women go all gooey over scent. Yeah it was proven. I caught a secretary smelling my armpit on a summer day. It still gives me ego boost.

Author themessenger
money seems to be a big factor hear. I decided to go back to college so guess i'm in trouble there for now. what scents to women prefer? Its fummy that it seems easier for people to come up with things that turn women off. lets cut the crap what makes them WET? Edited March 30, 2008 by themessenger
blind_otter
money seems to be a big factor hear. I decided to go back to college so guess i'm in trouble there for now. what scents to women prefer? The natural scent. I have to admit that I have used the "scent test" on guys I dated in the past. I have to really be into their natural scent. Not the "I haven't bathed in 3 days" stank, but just how their skin smells naturally without cologne.
Trialbyfire
So what traits about men make women melt and wet? Someone I care deeply about who returns the affection, in equal proportion. Nothing fuels desire like a man who's capable of strong, deep emotions.
Kamille
The scientific answer? Scent. Women go all gooey over scent. Yeah scent tops my list. My bf smokes but I never smell it off of him (unless he just finished one). He smells intoxicating to me. Other things that make me melt: men who are gentleman's : always open doors for any women, who actually stand up to say hello, who never walk ahead of me. men who let me catch them checking me out and then smile. (Works if I've already had a few dates with them but not before - before I find it a bit too foward). men who are great conversationnalists: who pay attention, ask questions, don't need to impress or be the centre of attention men who make me laugh men who laugh at my jokes. LucreziaBorgia
1. what scents to women prefer? 2. lets cut the crap what makes them WET? 1. A good natural smell, nothing artificial or cloying. 2. um.. that kiss I mentioned. A man's physical confidence when making the first moves is a big turn on. The other stuff - money, cars, clothing, etc. - none of that does it for me at all. The guy has to have that physical confidence and savvy, or he doesn't really have a shot. lovestruck818
Making me melt is wayyyy more important than making me wet... and one can do that by being incredibly sweet and incredibly smart. Challenege me to a game of chess and kick my ass. That would make me melt.
Ocean-Blue
A man who can bring levity to a crappy situation. Now that makes me melt. I love a man who can make me laugh. Maybe this is because the men in my life (dad, brother, etc) are THE funniest guys I know... But yah, the funny thing is a must for me. I don't dig serious in a partner. Smell is important too. With or without cologne. I find it a turn on when the man in question does nice things for people I love, when he can appreciate the relationships in my life. Something sweet about that. I also love men who can speak different languages. English is an obvious must...but if he can speak another language (especially the one I grew up with), well that's pretty hot. It turns me on quite a bit actually (more than sweet nothings in English). A man who isn't afraid of himself...one who isn't afraid to try something new. Someone with a real zest for adventure and spontaneity.
ashieannie
First off I agree money don't make me melt or wet or anything like that. If they are a hard worker that is better, not a hard worker that just WORKS and WORKS and WORKS all the time too. This is my list: Ability to make me smile not just at the beginning of the relationship but 6 mos. down the line Someone that remembers when something important is going on in my life and asks, and I would do the same Someone that still holds my hand and once and awhile does those sweet little nothings even after the sparks have gone Someone that is close to their family, and likes my family as well A great smile, or at least a smile that is their own and not fake And there is of course physical traits I look for also but I won't go into that! DanielMadr
What makes women melt and/or wet.... No advice is universal and has to be used accordingly. Do you remember yourself on a very good day...when you feel pretty at ease, at peace with everything, relaxed, laid back, smiling, not worring about anything except really important things and moral codes...but surprisingly for such a nice day still ready to die for a good cause? Thats the mindset of yours, that will probably make women (who like your smell:) ) melt and/or wet. However once you meet a girl that seems True Love of Your Life on a first sight, you will be forced by your unconsciousness to be a little nervous, because you dont want to screw that one....and your chances start to go down. Its probably natures way for keeping males frustrated and hence active.
Author themessenger
Sounds like daniel made a perfect description of being in the zone. I have to admit on days like that I could smell like a locker room and close the deal. She made the same coment about me having body odor almost a year ago. We have been onand off ever since then so it can't be that bad. Just a couple times. I just know its when I drink or eat garbage and because I put wheight on I sweat. all things I'm improving now. but i was taken back casue she was the first girl to say such things. the first time i brushed it off. the second time has made me paranoid about it lol. she has her smells too lol. but that conversation is for another thread. Daniel don't stop there your shooting pearls. Edited March 31, 2008 by themessenger
Author themessenger
Can any women recall being in the presense of a guy and all of a sudden find them selves moist down there? What do you think brought that on?
Elemental
The smell thing: Even before I knew about things like MHC genes, I knew I was initially more drawn to scent than anything else, or at least far more interested in men whose scents I liked. It won't get any man in the door, because I do have a behavioral list I won't tolerate, but a guy could be Prince Charming and if I don't like his scent, he's out. Been there; tried that. It just doesn't work. I have to sleep next to the guy. If he smells wrong, there's not going to be much sleeping going on, never mind any other nocturnal activities. I can tolerate it, but that's all I can manage. I can't really get used to it. As far as behavior is concerned, having the moves put on me by someone whose scent I don't like leaves me having to put a tight leash on the inner b1tch no matter how smooth he is. There just isn't a magic formula. Sorry. Even worse, a man whose MHC genes are an olfactory match can blow it by being an idiot. That's happened, too.

Storyrider
Can any women recall being in the presense of a guy and all of a sudden find them selves moist down there? What do you think brought that on? It happens when he speaks my language, non-verbally as well as verbally. He anticipates what I'm thinking, reads my mind a bit, and then delivers, sometimes even knowing what I want before I know it myself. But he can't be cocky and arrogant about it. Either he can do it, or he can't. There is no faking this.
