do you guys race cars or something?

Can't speak for her, but I'm a drag racer. Over and done in a flash :D

Seriously, yes, for all of my adult life, off an on. Still have the race car I built in the early 80's.

Nah, I don't judge a man's prospective member just based on his height.

And I'm sure you two look cute. So long as he makes you hot, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, right?

Me, I'm just almost 5'5. Not very tall. But my bf is 6'3. And that's just the way I like it.

I've always dated tall men too and I'm only 5'2.5" (gotta' get in that last 1/2 inch ;)). Most were 6'+, although I've dated a few exceptions.

You can't help what you're attracted to, although sometimes, you'll find yourself attracted, regardless if they fit the ideal. :)

1/4 mile here too, but I don't live my life 1/4 mile at a time...

Hah I love it how all the women are seriously talking about what turns them off...and the men are talking about drag racing. So typical lol.

Yeah lets get back on topic and i also made a thread called what makes women melt. really I'd like to know in that thread what makes women WET. Daniel mader made a good point that if you can't do that she'll find a million things wrong with you.

Yes!

Someone made a comment once that really made me think. He said, women walk around with lists or things a prospective partner MUST have. Some forgo a great relationship and a great guy b/c he doesn't have all the things on the list. BUT, he said, it's probably best in the long run. You gotta find yourself a man who makes you forget the list all together. Now that was quite profound I thought.

Find someone that makes you forget about the proverbial MUST LIST. Ain't that a crazy idea?

That's because for many women, the "must list" is a list of negotiables. Non-negotiables are the key items women or men for that matter, should never barter away. :)

Haha...check out my album... ;)

Oh, the other trait I can't stand, is a man who won't listen to reason. I hate controlling men.

Wow, TBF!!!!!:love::love: You are HAWT woman!

And yes, I don't like men who don't listen to reason as well. Controlling men are a major turn off b/c their need to control comes from an itty bitty place called INSECURITY. The sexiest men I've met are cool and confident enough to just chill and mellow out with their partners. This is one of the things I love most about my bf.

Haha...validation anyone?

Thanks. :)

Sometimes, you have to let go of your control and chill. You're lucky with your b/f. He seems like a cool guy.

He actually is a pretty decent human being. Flaws and all.

Another major turn off: men who aren't street smart. Eeeeek. I hate this. I don't want to have to protect him in a given situation. He has to know the ins and outs...the ways of the world without needing the protective arms of another.

This is hot, hot, hot.

Skirt-hiders...double Eeeeek!

Hmmm...another major turnoff, is a guy who spouts off on things he doesn't have a clue about. ;)

Yes. Totally.

I know this one guy who is possibly one the dumbest people I know. But he'll never concede on anything. If you correct him on something, he has a way of changing his answer to make it seem as if he were right all along.

Example:

IDIOT: OK, Toronto is soo the capital of Canada!

TEHE: What are you talking about?? It's Ottawa!

IDIOT: Yeah, Ottawa is the capital.

TEHE: You just said Toronto.

IDIOT: Yeah, Ottawa.

TEHE: Whatever.

This is a simplified example, but that's how he is. He'll jump into conversations about the stock trade or sports or world events and say the silliest things. No one really calls him on it though. We all figure he's nursing a pretty fragile ego, so we let him be.

Well, to stay on topic, my wife finds the smell of machine oil and racing fuel fumes to be a turn-off :)

Bwhahaha...

Here's another example of the spouter:

Moi: I like men who are caring.

Spouter: No you don't. You want a jerk.

Moi: No I don't, I want a caring man because then, I can return that care full force.

Spouter: All women like jerks. That's what you want.

Moi: *wanders off*

So, was he trying to romance you or what? :D

Without reading the rest of the responses to your thread yet, this is a difficult one for me to answer because what turns one woman off might actually be a turn-on for another woman. Generally women and men are looking for relationships with people who have characters which fit their 'core values.' I for one don't want a guy who parties and drinks a lot because I don't do that a lot. I like a casual drink once a week with friends, that's about it. So a guy who goes to the bar every night is going to be a turnoff for me to date, but it doesn't make him a bad guy, and another woman might be into bars, also, so this guy would turn her on.

Does this make sense?

Posted

I dunno and I don't care. You know when you shape your left hand like the letter "L" and put it to your forehead? This would be the case with this guy.

OK, you are trying to get back together with your exgirlfriend? What was it that broke you guys up? If it is a quality about you, and it is a quality which is changeable and you WANT to change it for the better, then work on that quality, maybe even get therapy to take a look at yourself and what you need to look at within yourself to change that so that you won't repel more women and possibly draw your exgirlfriend closer.

He's married...therefore the assumption is that he does get laid (he had kids). He is just incredibly annoying. His poor wife is well aware of his tendencies. She puts up with it and makes excuses for him.

The worst part is that she thinks he's "well-read" and "with it". Either she's delusional or worse than he is.

For me personally:

A guy who has ****ed hookers or escorts in the past, guys that go to massage parlors, sex vacations, high end call girls. It's a deal breaker for me.

Also, guys who slap me, hit me, choke me, yell/shout in my face at me in public in order to humiliate and demean me.
