Kamille Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Well to all of you who followed, advised and supported me through the rollercoaster.... I am so excited about tomorow! Anyways, bf and I had a wonderful date this week and he called yesterday to ask me out for tomorow. He just called again to tell me that since I deserved it (finished a big assignment today), tomorow was officially my day! Awww, this man is so awesome. this is his suggestion: meet early, go to the market, buy fresh ingredients, he will cook one of my favorite meals, we will watch whatever movie I want tomorow afternoon and afterwards he is taking me out to whatever restaurant I choose.
Author Kamille Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 sounds really wonderful-enjoy! thanks Compassion! I am starting to see that what I read as him being 'distant' and no longer invested in the R is him trying to hear me out when I say I need a bit more space. I think we are starting to strike a balance in that he's realizing that my need for a bit more space isn't a need for less intimacy. Just a need for more 'me' time.
compassion42 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Kamille-I think it's wonderful that your bf is trying so hard to listen to you and provide what you need as far as the R goes. "ME" time is important to both people in the relationship. Time apart can make the time you share together so much better!

"ME" time is important to both people in the relationship. Time apart can make the time you share together so much better! I totally agree, but he doesn't understand the reasoning. He loves me, wants to be with me, sees us together for a long time (when he met me he had a "she's the one moment") so he didn't see the point in 'playing games' or taking our time. Now, after all that happened, I think he sees it.
Author Kamille Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 Glad things are going well, Kamille! Have fun! Thanks Marlena! I should start to get ready but I'm having a very lazy day. I just called and he said "no rush, it's your day". So cute.
compassion42 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Kamille, I am going to look back to see what I missed in your previous posts about your relationship/bf. I look forward to reading all about your amazing date-now go get ready!

Sounds fattening! Hope you have a wonderful time.
Author Kamille Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 The day was really great. I don't really know what details to go into. I think what was most meaningful to me is that we talked about the fact that he will be moving two provinces over in July. Before the break up, we had talked about moving together. Yesterday he asked me where I stood with that and we both agreed that we could give ourselves another month to see if things keep going this well before deciding. I did tell him that it was still what I wanted to do deep down. Then we talked about many things, namely the SS invasion of LS and he thought it was hilarious. BF always has had game, so he never felt like he needed a rule book to prove his masculinity. He made a few daunting jaunts at masculinists movements which really made me laugh. And made me love him even more for being so respectful of women. So fearless when it comes to love. I miss him already, but we have plans to watch a movie this afternoon. And yes, it was a very fattening day, but very delicious.
Nevermind Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 :love:I can feel the love. And the envy. Just kidding. Glad you had a great day!
Author Kamille Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 Awww... And I bet he wasn't late!!! Not but I was... Only ten minutes though. I'm the tardy one in this R, but I always manage to show up on time when it's important.
datingmum Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Oh Kamille! How awesome. I am crying for you! In a girl flick romantic ending sort of way! Have fun and enjoy
