Im about to ask a girl out in a couple days, and have a few questions.

1) should i tell her I like her before i ask her out? if so, how exactly do I

do that?

2) Do you have to ask a girl out almost right after you get to know her? Or can you wait a little longer than that?

3) What do you do before you ask her out? Just talk a little bit?

Thanks for all advice!:)

Just ask her out. Nothing more than that. She'll know you're interested in her because you ask her out. No need to talk to her first.

Good on you Mike for having the courage to ask a girl out.

I agree with Nutudating, by asking her out, you are showing her you are interested. I would even avoid telling her you like her. It might create awkwardness and put pressure on her to feel like she needs to assess whether or not she likes you back before even going on a date.

It is better to ask someone out early after you've gotten to know them. That way you avoid the dreaded friendzone.

As to what you do before asking her out? Smile. Then ask her out as confidently as you can.

I agree with the other posters, plus I want to add this: Ask her out directly. Sometimes people who are feeling awkward about asking someone out are very vague, like : "Hey I'm going to be in your part of town tomorrow, maybe get some coffee or something, so if you kinda wanna come that'd be fine."

Sometimes the person being asked is wondering "well, does he like me or was he just being polite?"

I prefer no ambiguity: "Would you like to go on a dinner date with me Friday night?"
