In my experience, things will not get better no matter how much you try or don't try to change the situation. My relationship/sex issues started years before we were married, and I credit much of my decision to get married to someone who is not compatible due to youth and inexperience. Unfortunately, if you remain in your current state, you will end up feeling as though you have wasted the better years of your life with someone who does not fulfill your needs (emotionally and physically). Bitterness, resentment, possible depression, and a negative attitue towards women in general may follow.

I was never told this directly, but I did try to believe this (media, listening to other peoples conversations, etc.) I have to admit - it is refreshing to know that women do place more importance on sex in a relationship that what I had been led to think...
