I don't think that particular post was directed at you, but rather to some of the replies you've gotten from other newcomers acting like Loveshack is a community of women and eunuchs. It's okay to ask... you've gotten some good, honest replies, and I'm sure you'll get many more by the time this thread gets locked because it got out of hand. -E

Suddenly, the Shack becomes filled with multiple new threads started by these very same posters. And, oddly, all these new posters with all these new threads tend to have roughly the same complaints about the Shack, about women at the Shack, about women liking jerks and hating nice guys, about men not being real MEN and allowing women to treat them like doormats, about taking their power back from all these ball-busting women, about all the supposed male-bashing that goes on here...well, you get the idea. Just look at the new threads lately. And then, just as suddenly, perhaps when the very busy mods notice that there's one IP addy for all 17 new identities, the posters disappear. Thinly veiled misogynist rants in the guise of men frustrated while seeking help and advice? I know I have my opinion, but I'm one of those ball-busting bitches, so what do I know? 1

Eventually they all change their minds... history keeps repeating itself. Personally, I'm in the forum because it's always enlightening to see how others deal with their problems. Once in a while I have something useful to say, which explains why after over two years, I've posted a "handful" of times compared to the veterans of the forums. -E

Tony, even my own personal infractions haven't helped you achieve that goal? I'm sure I'll get a few more before March is over... But to stay on topic, mods are pretty fair. There is only one I haven't agreed with that I received. I think men and women are treated equally on here.

But to be honest I've been reading some threads today, and it seems like this is basically a female site, with a pro-women, anti-men agenda, and that's kinda put me off. I see The Truth About Women thread has been deleted. Would a similar 'men suck' thread be treated the same? Likewise I happen to know that The Collector has been banned from posting. I don't understand how anything he wrote is particularly offensive, and this is an adult forum, with a section that supports cheating for heavens sake. Why the censorship? And have any women ever been banned? I haven't been around that much, but for the limited time that I've been here I have not seen any indication of this place being gender bias. I might pay my parents a visit this evening, see if they still have those glasses at the back of the cupboard and conduct a liquid holding comparison test between the tall thin glass and the short squat one. Of course on the other hand they love flagging me I think they just see my name and flag me who know's. Since I was flagged so much whenever I post it has to be seen by the mod's first. The way I see it we are all adults if you can't handle aonther adults opinion then maybe posting with adults is not the best thing for you. Just handle it yourself all the rude comments and dissing I get,you don't see me clicking the "alert us " button. I'm a adult if I post something anyone does not like they are free to respond in any manner they choose I personally dont give a f-ck,and I am not going to get all fuc-in bent out of shape and flag them. I have to disagree, just based on my personal posts. I complain that my SO is too masculine, to the point of being a caveman. In fact, I think all my posts, even from the far past, have been like that. I had another LTR back in 2004 with a man who was a serial cheater, who was physically abusive and spit in my face on multiple occassions, and ended up going to prison for 5 years for trying to strangle a friend of mine to death. Tony and Paul are very reasonable people, and will deal with any issues they take to be out of line. They are men not easily swayed (flirting or annoying gets no result out of them, I should know ) and to suggest they are merely going by the wishes of the females on here, I feel insulted for them. I thought LS was a community of people who can think for themselves. In the end, all we have are words. There is no female man-hating conspiracy in the land of LS, how absurd. If anything, this place seems to attract more bitter men wishing to rant on the all consuming conspiracy of the female race than women complaining about how they hate all men or whatever. And especially in the past 12 hours or so, strange about that huh...
