yazr Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 ok so, i'm pretty young.. 15, but i have a problem. I've dated this guy for 6 months, we broke up for 2 and now wev'e been back together for 1 and i really really like him, and him the same. were literally up to the stage we can both honestly say we love each other. yeah i know its not true love or whatever its called, but im pretty sure alot of you know how its like to be young and in love. you feel like that persons your absolute world. i know its possible to move on. but i really really like him right now. i'm moving back to england in 3 months. i know its literally impossible to keep a relationship going so wev'e both agreed to break up and move on. however my problem is, last time we broke up we 'fell out of love' and i STILL couldnt shake him from my mind. this time around we both love each other and if its the same in 3 months i dont know how im supposed to shake him off my mind, and him the same. sorry for the long post, but has anyone got an idea on how to stop liking someone when you both really really like each other, but know you can't. thanks :]
danPsycozee Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Well first of all, you are only 15. I don't think you have experienced life at its fullest. I mean yes, young love is sweet and cute, but at the end of the day both of you will realize that there is a world out there and you want to go explore it. If you really like the guy but you KNOW you can't be with him and vice versa, I believe you should establish ground rules and tell him that both of you should move on, get to know people, you can still be friends... MOVE ON! Maybe later in life you will get together again! But for the time being, I strongly suggest you to live your life hopefully having learned from that relationship; go to parties, meet people, hang out with your friends, have fun!
