themessenger Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 In the first few months of a relationship, how much are you expected to devulge? How much information should you expect. What I mean is lets say your in a reelationship with somebody. If that person should happen to be going on a date or is going to be ina a group of people with a former SO should you expect them to tell you? If they should happen to lie is it a white lie? Do you just assume they may not be doing what they say but the relationship is young so who cares? OR is the sign of a dishonest person that will always be a liar? When you are in the begining stages of a relationship and you find yourself in plans that you are unsure the other might think of how do you handle it? Really think about this one. Its easier said then done.

Might as well get it out in the open if your wanting to be with this person to see if your gonna get along rather than be shy and down the road have to deal with a bunch of fighting and problems. I would tell my SO, just to let you know I dated this person and so on..... I would not like to be in the dark on something like that personally. I'm in the relationship to enjoy the company of my SO and make them happy, not to hide "secret" stuff that would I know might make them feel uncomfortable. I mean later on, stuff like that usually finds it way out into the open so might as well get it on the table now rather than later.

What if the SO doesn't question what you do? then why should you question them? does it mean they don't care? or just don't want drama? I could tell she cared she would call late at night or early in the morning, but not ask what i was doing. i knew what she was doing though. Edited March 25, 2008 by themessenger
