I found out this book, "Why Men won't commit", and it said " Men wanted to be HERO when he was child, and still he wants to be as HERO. Hero is strong, independent and ALONE. and they tend to travel light. So they tend to say `I need time or space` because they can't travel completely light in a love relationship. In addition, His dream was of his being free and of you, the woman, being available and loving." (Dr. George)

It is interesting for me. Because my ex and old boyfriend's excuse of separetion were " I need time." hahaha^^

what do you think about his qupte in his book?

I just wanted to ask men!

I've seen many men take pride in their independence. The ideal for them IS that the woman is always there for them, and they're free. ACK!

But the issue is that women have this HERO stereotype of men as well - and I personally find men who're readily willing to be dependent a huge turn-off. I have a lot more respect for men who are always out there, forever searching...... but a gal can't be happy with a man like that... Go figure!
