I have just (in the past year) started trusting a new friend of mine. We share many things in common - I won't go into all that. My main concern now is we each have prescriptions that the other one likes. There have been no problems sharing with each other except this am what she had given me was waaaay weaker than the other doses. Let me get this straight now though - we ARE NOT IV users. She has liquid and I have pills. She has always measured her's in my sight but this am there was a very noticable decrease. She had divided my share last night at her house. Should I just d/c trading with her , talk to her, wait and see what happens again, ??? I would never let this get inbetween our friendship but I just don't know what to think? Any Suggestions???

Is there another reason she may have made the mistake? - Is it possible that she felt drowsy, ill, overly tired, etc.?

I would mention that it is very important that you get your correct dosage, and when she doesn't feel up to measuring it out for ANY reason, to please know that you'd be happy to do that for her.

If you continue to suspect deliberate sabotage, then it is serious enough that you do forego the friendship in favour of maintaining your health.

(None of the above is to condone sharing meds. I personally do not think that is wise.)

As I am new to this, or any of the forums, your reply was appreciated. I agree there should be more talk before I let this discrepancy happen again. And I liked your idea of asking if she is too tired, ill, etc to measure correctly which I really don't think the problem lies there. I will probably stick with my original thought - I am easiily taken advantage of - but - I'm learning.
