Issues & tissues Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91248-1310345,00.html I hope we all find the strength to ride the storm and live another day and fulfill the purpose we were put on this earth for (with or without the ex!)
LuCidiTy Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 ahh...the human condition. but you know, though i can see how people could go there, personally, no matter how bad it gets, i just could never even entertain the thought of suicide. i guess i've seen tomorrow get brighter too many times to ever give up on it.
eagle5 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Interesting article, I didn't realise J K Rowling had been through that, it's not just us mere mortals. How is it that just 1 single human being can influence us so much that we would (even briefly) think there is no other way without them, apart from suicide??? That is why I've looked on through the darkness to reach the point where I am now, I guess I've seen a photon of light at the end of the darkest tunnel. I hope everyone who reads this can do that too, we as individual souls are worth more than that. Wow I'm saying all the right things but still I fall into the trap of feeling there is no future without her. God knows there is, but our worst enemy is our memory and the ability to reminisce, you know, I remember when she said this and that about how much she loved me and how she wanted a future with children/marriage together in the future, how she told me that she's never been loved by anyone as much as I loved her and how she felt the same towards me. Then she just ended it and left me for dead. So I hope there is a purpose to all this, I may NEVER be able to trust her again but I would have her back in a flash if that were possible. I take away hope in reading the J K Rowling story, in that she pulled through it. I hope we all can too. Happy Easter to all ls and may we all be able to move on through the good and bad times.
