I need a couple of bits of advice from you guys, concerning the newest man in my life...

There is a man who is a friend of a friend who I noticed the myspace page of. I am into the swing/vintage scene in the city I live in and this guy is pretty well known, and routinely puts on events/Dj's in places around the area. After looking over his myspace page, one of my girlfriends and I went out to a club that he was dj'ing at ( we are talking about dj'ing tunes from the 1930's and 1940's!). I e-mailed him before we went to the club and explained that I liked his work, and that me and my friend would be stopping by to say hi to him and I told him what I would be wearing.

When we arrived, I sat the bar for a while, and watched him set up. My friend said he was looking over at us. I then called out his name, and he came over and we shook hands, and he asked me to dance.

After that, he had to start playing the music, but me and my friend stayed at the bar watching him, I had a drink, and then spoke with my friend who told me we had to get going, so I went up to him and asked me if he might dance with me again before I left and he said right after he finished playing his music. While he finished up, I could of sworn I saw him wink at me. When he was done, he walked all the way around the bar and asked me to dance. We danced, and then he came over back to where my friend was and chatted with us for a few moments, then chatted with me alone.

We both had to go home, but he told would be at another event this sunday and I told him I would come to it.

Now that's what happend,

Now I was just wondering, I think he was interested in me, but what do you all think? As a woman, I think I had to give him some deffinate signs that i was interested in him, because normally a girl who is 25 like me wouldn't ve interested in a man his age, but for what ever reason, I personally prefer them.

What should I do this coming sunday when I go to the next event? I will be going alone, and there will be dancing/cocktails?

Let's see Vintage,

you e-mailed him, praised his work, asked him to dance, and had a chat at the end.

Sounds like you did fine in showing him your interest;).

You don't mention his age, but I will assume he is over 40 or so(most men in their 30's wouldn't balk at dating a 20-something woman, but a 40+ guy might).

If I were that guy, I would like to see you on Sunday and hear something really positive coming from you, like "I like you!" said spontaneously while you two are dancing or having fun.

Believe me, he will respond appropriately.

Cheers

Whaaaarrt ! Any 40+ man man worth his viagra would date a 20 something in a snap . It is what mature, sophisticated, smooth men are obligated to do ,for the team. . However I must say that I also date a 42 year old and I have a 50 year old honey who dotes on me and dances like Ginger Rogers.

Ahh ! I am indeed a fortunate man.

In fact my 20 year old Salsa dancing "friend" is wanting more of the same this coming Saturday night. Saw her tonight and she was all "darlin' and sweetie and such.." She looks like a very young Demi Moore .

So many women, so little of AJ to spead around...I try as best I can.

It sounds like a hard life AJ, but you seem to cope admirably.

I will pray for your cock(:lmao: not my words, from movie)

Jack, I would appreciate your take on a thread I started a month ago.

Can I trust a woman's little sister?

Thanks
