burning 4 revenge Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I agree and Yoko Ono gets a bad name. Say what you want about her but she seems like she genuinely loved John and she pushed him in an artistic direction that resulted in a lot of good music. I like some of their collaborations, but I prefer experimental music to standard pop
Ssheena Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Did you all hear what she did after the verdict???? She dumped water on Paul's magistrate. In the courtroom. In front of everyone. And then she went out and made her little, "oh I'm so happy" speech. I'm going to be watching what charity she gives some of the money to and how much. I bet it's the Heather Mills charity.
blind_otter Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I heard it was $50 million... I follow the gossip sites. Also, the funny thing is that they had aeons to come to an agreement on their own. Heather kept wanting more money that Paul wasn't wiling to give, so it went back and forth for MONTHS. Then time ran out and a judge was called in to decide who got what, as well as the guardianship for their daughter Beatrice. After the judge announced how much she would be getting, rumor has it that Heather Mills marched up to Paul's divorce attorney and poured a glass of water over her head.
Art_Critic Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I heard it was $50 million... I follow the gossip sites. 50 Million was the offer that Paul offered and she turned down about 6-8 months ago. of the 48 Million she got, 16 million of that was marital asset money and she was due it just by marrying him.
Art_Critic Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I think the thing that is soooo funny is that HM had said publicly that she gave away 80-90% of her earnings to charities .. Come to find out that she gives NO money to charities at all..( it is in the divorce filing ) In the divorce papers she budgets 80k per year for wine.. 2 million a year for staff of the 7 homes she owns. and many many more luxuries
