Excessive texting of an ex? Just wondering. This guy won't leave me alone, he's really pissed off. I'm getting 100 plus angry texts a day. (I basically blew him off after seeing him a couple months.)

Are they threatening text messages? Where I am from, if it is then all one has to do is report it to the police and they will check up on that person and have a talk with him.

well try asking him to stop, saying if you get even one more message your going to the police... and then if he keeps doing it after that, just go to the police

They are not threatening. Just angry and really annoying. I don't respond. I might try the police message, thanks.

I think some phone service providers allows you to block someone's calls and messages, I'm not sure, but you could check.

If his behaviour continues you can go to the police and charge him for harrassment.

Depending on where you live...it might qualify as harassment. If I were you, I'd save the said texts. If by "angry" you mean threatening texts (what you genuinely interpret as threatening) it might constitute harassment.

Once I heard a story that a guy from Italy, or Europe, got fined for messaging his friend too persistently. Things do happen..

Have you told him to stay away from you? Maybe it will take him time to realize that.

Try to be patient.

Good luck,

Get a restraining order - then he'll get arrested for sending the texts
