hey...so I (being a female) asking this guy out...

we went out for a couple of days without any physical contact.

after 2nd date we would talk almost every night on the phone..

 

on the 3rd date...we kissed and foreplay happened and he could have had sex with me...but i told him I wont be able to handle it so we didnt. He however asked me "I wonder what your expectations are from this relationship?" to which I replied "its too soon to say anything"...

 

anyway later i told him...i dont think i should sleep with him...coz it has to be special for me...and he said good decision..saying let things get clearer...

 

we talked every night after that...I have clearly told him we are not exclusive...

he is out of the country for 20 days...we even talked while he was at the airport...he emails sometimes...

 

What does all this mean? Sorry I have been outta the dating scene for so long...i cant understand if we are fwb or more...

I should also mention...i called him after the first n second date...

he responses very well but usually i initiate contact...

A woman chasing a guy..that doesn't happen to often from my personal experience and from friends I know. Regardless, I'm still confused by the "he could have had sex with me" and you telling him you couldn't handle it. How could he have had sex with you when you shut him down?

 

I think you need to ask yourself what YOU really want. It seems a bit too soon to have sex in my opinion. Too many emotions too quickly. If you are looking for FWB then of course disregard the above comment. How long have you been dating him?

 

Why did you feel the need to reiterate the non-exclusivity in your relationship? Do you plan on seeing others while he is out of the country for ~3 weeks?
