DanielMadr Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) Is it only my observation that a lot of girls today behave - or pretend to be- Clint Eastwood? I dont mean smoking cigars and wearing mexican sauce stained poncho. I mean that attitude "Im lean and mean toughest MF around here so I dont even give a hint of smile" thing, even showing the finger sign and such? I find it pretty funny but in the same time quite disturbing. And potentionally dangerous....You cant pretend you are Clint Eastwood if you dont have his skills - I mean one day someone forgets you are in fact fragile, scared little kiddo and you go down. Its funny and dangerous when teenage boys play tough. But hey, thats what they suppose to become. But 50kg bunny with pierced bellybutton or office suit and gucci something?!? And the worst is, this behaviour is totaly unsexy for men. We maybe like Clint but certainly we dont want to stick a tongue in his mouth, phew. Is it all that amazon movies? You know I saw women or rather girls switch from this state to normal state but first impression is first impression. You will always see her in that dirty poncho now on. (I agree the use of "I mean" is quite annoying) Edited March 12, 2008 by DanielMadr
underpants Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Daniel, you have to ask yourself... ...are you feeling lucky.
Author DanielMadr Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 Daniel, you have to ask yourself... ...are you feeling lucky. Lucky? No. Happy? Yes. Why? What it has to do with Clint? OMG did he die yesterday????
NuTuDating Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Harry Callahan: "I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky?....Well, do ya punk?" It's from the movie. If you're going to talk about Clint Eastwood being tough, you must be familiar with this line!
carhill Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 What it has to do with Clint? "This is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and will blow your head clean off" Dirty Harry....
NuTuDating Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Yeah, after starting a post about Clint Eastwood and not knowing that line, I personally would be a little embarrassed!

Thanks At best I was able to come up with only "Come closer you f*cker, cant hear you from there", when some thug was standing in a subway train doors and had some problems with me, while I was standing a few metres inside the train.
burning 4 revenge Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Ive never seen that movie either. He's probably more familiar with the Spaghetti Westerns
Author DanielMadr Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 "This is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and will blow your head clean off" Dirty Harry.... Oh. My brain got exhausted by writing to post probably. Thanks Or it is because of the german doctor who hides my things. Dr. Alzheimer, I think.
Trialbyfire Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Daniel, what you're expressing here is quite chauvinistic. Perhaps it's the fear of an independent woman. What do you have to offer that will make an independent woman want to remain with you? Will she dine and dash?
Author DanielMadr Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 Yeah, after starting a post about Clint Eastwood and not knowing that line, I personally would be a little embarrassed! I am. On my defense...all movies I saw with Clint were dubbed. So the English version - you have to move more brain cells before it clicks.

Do you suggest that Independant woman = Clint Eastwood like???? OMG, then Im not interested as I wrote in my original post. Besides I can light a match on my chin....what about that to offer, punk?
NuTuDating Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I can kind of relate to Daniel's initial post - sort of the girls with the "f you" attitude. Not attractive at all. I was out with some friends from work a couple of months ago and one of the girls at work was trying to introduce me to a single girl she knew that happened to be there. The girl replied "What? Do I have '****ing hook me up' tattooed on my forehead?'" Needless to say, I didn't even bother introducing myself. Probably dodged a bullet with that wench.

Couple of times I managed to get past that b*tch shield but in a while I came to conclusion it is part of their personality after all and not only staged. Actually it is better they have no manners...at least you dont waste time like you said.

If you weren't in Texas I would have guessed that your friends tried to hook you up with TBF
NuTuDating Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 If you weren't in Texas I would have guessed that your friends tried to hook you up with TBF The funny thing was, she was intoxicated and didn't even realize that I was the one she was supposed to be introduced to. Better to learn when someone is not a good person BEFORE you have to talk to them!
Trialbyfire Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 If you weren't in Texas I would have guessed that your friends tried to hook you up with TBF I agree. I chew nails for breakfast and spit pumpkin seeds at men walking by. If I can hit them in the arse...Score!!
Author DanielMadr Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 The funny thing was, she was intoxicated and didn't even realize that I was the one she was supposed to be introduced to. Better to learn when someone is not a good person BEFORE you have to talk to them! War stories.... Heh, the best experience I have is from a club. Tha place was packed. I was standing in front of bar, chatting with some french guys and there came two girls, all smiles and honey, asking me if I could move a bit for a moment, so they can order something. They were quite young btw. So I moved to a side and let them order. After a while they were still standing there, ignoring me absolutely - no apologetic smiles. So I looked on my watch and half-jokingly said to them "Hope it wont take too long". The one looked at me and said very seriously: "Shut up and turn around". WHOA. I looked at her, slowly and gently poked her with a finger on her shoulder and said "You want to fight?". I can tell she didnt expect that. Then came her wannabe-bf with "What do you want?". Mind you, he couldnt know what it was all about, he thought Im hitting on her. I looked at him and said nothing. Actually I was forming some strong speech. But meanwhile, he realised he over-estimated his chances with me and went very still and quiet. The girl was still in a state of shock. Probably it never happened to her before. Eventually the got lost. Another interesting observation I made how to "test" a girl. If she has no sense of humor she is lost cause - too tensed up.
cutegirl Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 What makes you think women care if it's unattractive to men? Some women actually PREFER to be alone and want to STAY alone and could care less about impressing a man, or getting to know a man or have anything to do with a man. Sometimes what men think is irrelevant to us. We could care less if you think our behavior is unattractive because we are not trying to impress you.

Sometimes what men think is irrelevant to us. We could care less if you think our behavior is unattractive because we are not trying to impress you. Then we won't be dating you. That's all. Stay alone, it's no bother to me! It's the women that act this way, then complain about being alone that seems a little weird. Hey, if you like being a "strong, independent" woman who doesn't care about guys, that's great.

As long as you dont rant that nobody wants you because guys feel intimadated by you, I cant care less. Hope you are happy. I would do the same being a woman - I cant understand what girls see on guys:confused: At least try to pick up some chick - that what Clint would do.

But I don't believe being rude without a need to be is a good idea either. In my experience 95% of the men that approach are dirtbags or I have zero interest in and you need to rebuff them in a rude manner to get them to stop attempting to hump your leg. I follow this formula 1. a nice not interested 2. then a polite leave me alone 3. followed by a swift kick to the groin if need be.
Woggle Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I have seen these types and I laugh at them. They swear every man is trying to hit on them and one time when I was accused of trying to hit on a woman like this I told her not to flatter herself. Luckily I don't go to clubs that much anymore anyway because all you see are these types and various other types of both genders I have no desire to party with.
