so i recently met this guy that i really like..

i have certain guidelines when meeting guys that i dont think are that bad, im only 18 and in college so i expect the guy im seeing to have either a job or be in school, have a car, and not have any kids...

so im seeing this guy and everythings been working out great and i made sure the first few times that we hung out that he fulfilled all of the above things...

and we had sex for the first time yesterday and it was great, wasnt awkward at all... and then afterwards he pretty much tells me he has a kid on the way.. that his ex girlfriend is 6 months pregnant.. i dont know if i should be mad at him because technically he doesnt have any kids... yet.

i dont know what do ya'll think. argghiindbnm;sdb

RE:

I think you, Fantasiescankill, jumped into bed too quickly.

First and foremost, for how long have you known this man? Given your description, I can tell you one thing: A man that reveals a serious life accompanying matter after being intimate with a woman is not a gentleman.

You should ask yourself these questions:

(1) Is he in a relationship with his baby's mother? Is it serious?

(2) What could have caused him to hide such a matter from you?

(3) Are you worthy of his attention and love?

(4) Are you willing to be in a relationship with a man, a father-to-be?

It is your choice. But, ultimately, secretly hiding or lie-ing about this matter is a huge red flag. Be cautious.

Stay safe, and above all, use protection.

MOVE THE HELL ON GIRL...do you really want to pursue a relationship with a guy who has a child on the way? Imagine the complications should you get into a serious relationship...you & him...him & his child...him and the child's mother.

You are young, still in school and way too far from ready to be taking on a high maintainance relationship.

Hope that didn't come across to harshly...just speaking my mind :=)
