juliebijoux Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 So I went out with this guy Friday, and we had a great time. He suggested that we should go out this week again and that he would come closer to my house. LOL, the kicker being that I know what's around here so I can choose the spot for the date. I was thinking up some ideas. He said that he doesn't really like to go to the city, but I only live 15 minutes away from Chicago, and that is where I go out most of the time. Should I just make plans there and ignore his comments? I can think of about a million things to do in the city, but only one or two in my suburb. Also please share your best second date stories! I was thinking afternoon ice skating or going to a museum would be fun and leaving it open for dinner later.
Carmen87 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 My second date with my current boyfriend was a riot. We first went bowling, which I am horrible at, and had an awesome time laughing at each others mistakes. We then played pool, which was a good time, while watching a football game. We rounded off the day with dinner at a local restaurant and talked for hours. So I agree that you should do something lighthearted during the day, then end the day with dinner and talk.
Phateless Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I'm a big fan of goony golf, video games, and go-karts. I'm a big dork, what can I say... If all that goes well, dinner at someplace cute, then maybe drinks?
dreamergrl Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I was down in Chicago for a date - we went to the Shed Aquarium - I loooooved it - I don't get down to Chicago much - so stuff like that - that isn't up here is so much fun
