Keith Urban: You'll Think of ME

When I was in junior high one of my girlfriends wanted to get the attention of an ex-boyfriend who recently broke up with her. As she carried her ghetto-blaster (old term for giant portable radio about 2 feet long and very heavy) she played the song, Baby Come Back by a band called Player. How fitting...

I also like the Humpty Dance....:p

"Call Me When You're Sober" from Evanescence is a good one too. For me, not necessarily the sober part - but everything else is dead-on.

I prefer Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back." That's my friggin' THEME SONG.

Of course I am being silly tonight:p

It would be cool to get all of these LS'ers doing the Humpty Dance on cue... OR Baby's got back. OR Somethingto lighten the mood...

There's this freestyle song from the 80s a guy sings about placing a letter in the mail, and he and the woman in the song are no longer together, but it's clear he misses her. For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of that song or whom sang it!!! But it's really good--very slow and sad.

Any ideas?

haha, no no no...It's Such a good song for this kind of situation too. I think the singer is either Hispanic or Black, with a really nice voice. Freestyle music, maybe even an R&B song--not rap, rock, hip hop, country...

I think he did a duet once with Lisa Lisa (if that helps any).

I don't listen to sad songs when I'm already depressed - it makes it even worse for me.

So in addition to the few I already offered, I also give you

"Lacrymosa" by Evanescence

"What I've Done" by Linkin Park

"No More Sorrow" by Linkin Park

"I F*ing Hate You" by Godsmack (not about heartbreak or anything remotely related to it, but very cathartic when you scream it at the top of your lungs)

Or "My Immortal" by Evanescence, if you do want the sad stuff.

I like "Apologize" by OneRepublic. I used to use that line to MM all the time, then a song came out. I thought "How perfect and convenient." It is the theme song to the affair we had
