To date I've asked out 8 lucky recipients. 6 rejected me and 2 accepted. For the record none of the 8 mentioned the "unfreshness" of the candy. As I say...it's the thought that counts. One of my two dates has become an ongoing sexual relationship. It's mostly my place, sometimes hers. Very reasonable expenses.... I have to buy(supermarket) and bake dinner. But please don't call GP a master-baker. The sex is great but it's a complicated relationship worthy of it's own post...someday. (Art Critic called her alpha female....nail on the head!). She's a cashier about 8 years my junior. My other date was with a nurse. She didn't get a box of candy, but the box I gave my ill, elderly Aunt was intended to impress the nurse....it did! We went on one date. I used every trick in the GP book to keep expenses reasonable. I planted a pair of cheap folding sunglasses in her purse. I called a few days later to ask if she had mistakenly grabbed my shades. She initially acted relieved that the mystery had been solved and said they were cool.... but then she claimed not to have found them at all. That's right, she was STEALING my shades! I threatened to see her in small claims court. Needless to say we won't be dating, GP wants an honest person, not a crook. All in all the money spent on discounted chocolate has paid off well enough. GP is getting action several times a week. PS: For those keeping track. I asked out the insurance lady that wasn't afraid of mohawk haircuts. Rejected. Seconds later...right in front of her.. I skimmed read it, but from what I read, it sounds like a relationship based purely on sexual intercourse several times a week, not that I'm against it, even if it isn't my cup of chi. I thought he might want something more from this cashier, other than a quick fumble in the jungle, after all sex is very much overrated at the best of times, I've found.
