shanny Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 So my bf went out with the guys tonight... he called me from his friend's phone and said that his was dead and that he would just see me when he got home. Out of curiousity, I called his phone to see if it ran or went straight to voicemail (meaning it's actually dead). It rang and I also saw that he had his charger out today. So I'm wondering if he did it to just not have any estrogen interupt his guy's night or if he is up to no good. We have had so many troubles and even a big fight last night (he blew off plans that were very important to me... long story). Does he just want a break from the fighting or am I just an idiot for staying with someone who doesn't want to be with me? He doesn't have a job and I pretty much support him... I just don't want to believe that he's with me as a meal ticket and not as someone he loves. But anyway... what do you think this whole phone thing means? I think I know your answers already... Sadly, Shanny
LucreziaBorgia Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 (edited) Without anything else to go on, I'd just say he needed a break. Is anything else unusual going on that would make you think otherwise? ... wait, I read your other threads. That said there really is no way to tell what he was up to. It doesn't sound like there is much to hold on to in this relationship. Why do you want to be with him? I'm not trying to be funny - I am curious as to why you want to be with someone who makes you feel so bad like he does. Edited March 7, 2008 by LucreziaBorgia
ICallsEmAsISeesEm Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I would have to question the fact that you support this guy and he's going out with his friends bar-hopping. Who paid for his priviledge to do THAT - you? Seems to me this guy should be spending less time drinking it up with his buddies and acting like a moron and MORE time actually being a productive human being and not letting a FEMALE support his worthless ass.
littlekitty Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I read your first thread on 'John' and only got to point 4 before I thought 'what a useless feck he is'. I'd get shot of him if I was you. *shrugs*
Author shanny Posted March 7, 2008 Author Posted March 7, 2008 You guys are all very right... I don't know why I'm still with him... Things between us used to be so good and I guess I'm just holding on to the hope that things will change. I don't think they will though. Plus, he has sucked every last bit of self esteem out of me, so I'm doubting that I'll find someone else that I like as much. Sigh...
NuTuDating Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Ditch his ass. Fast. You should not have to support a healthy male. However, if you choose to do so, and he's out spending YOUR money on alcohol, I'd let inform him that you were going with him! If he can't handle that, get rid of him.
xpaperxcutx Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 When you start supporting a guy, be it food and/or accomodations, you've basically become his mother, not his gf. You should cut your losses. My ex was like that, he had no job, and was still living at home with his mom. I basically just dumped him. I don't care how much he claimed he loved me, but when he started using me for my money, I was out.
MimiMe Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 And you're supporting him?!?!?! HELL NAH!!! Girl, you better get with the program! Do you pay his cellphone bill? I dont patronize "Snooping" but look in his phone bill and see who he calls. Dont set yourself short. There are plenty of good men out there... that can support themselves!! When you find one, Holla! if he has a brother! Soon to be divorce. LOL!
