soconfused01 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 inspired by the vegas thread and while I want to include stuff about my own trust issues with my boyfriend, I'd like the discussion to be about strip clubs and the kind of guys that enjoy them in general. bachelor parties at strip clubs are a 'celebration' of getting married? I'm having TONS of problems with my boyfriend and this really shouldn't be something I'm thinking about now, but one of his friends is getting married a year from now and it seems very likely that a strip club will be involved. I know I would be completely against this and I know that it is because while I do trust my boyfriend's actions, right now I'm finding it hard to trust his intentions. Part of this is because he's been with prostitutes in the past and so I would feel like he still had the same mindset of 'women as objects' to prance around for the entertainment of men, without regard to the women as fellow human beings. why do men, who are so happy to be getting married, feel the need for one last hurrah? why don't more men feel relieved to be getting out of the singles game? thoughts?

Girl - you need to find a hobby... Working towards negative outcomes like this will almost certainly guarantee failure.
