ddkeifo Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I just want some advice from guys here, or girls who think they know the right answer. I really like this guy, we've been on three dates, and see each other often enough. He has all the traits I would want in a significant other, but he's definitely shy and probably never had a girlfriend. we've never even kissed. it seems implicit that we like each other, but neither of us has explicitly said it. i feel like i want to though. well, My usual SOP tells me to wait for him to make the next move but i don't know if that will ever happen and i'm tired of waiting. should i tell him i like him? i wouldn't be too forceful about it, maybe just "i really like you, but if you just want to be friends that's fine" will this scare him off? thanks for any advice you can give.
xpaperxcutx Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Usually with shy guys, they will not be the ones to initiate the first or the next move. Why? Because they're SHY. So if you really like this guy, I don't see why you shouldn't tell him. You've been on three dates together, which clearly shows he's interested. So, go ahead, tell him. P.S I use to use that line often as well.... Hahaha in my opinion it works wonders, at least should he refuses you, you'll know you can still be friends.
