khov23 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I had two dates...I mean she's amazing. Her intellect blows my mind. She works 60-70 hr weeks and so do I. I'll follow her pace..I'm in no rush and I have to admit things are going slow. Here's how things have gone so far. 1st date: lunch (I paid)..2nd date: brunch (she paid..she insisted) ...Two days later which was tuesday..I leave a voicemail and make fun of her cause I always get her voicemail and just to say hi She returns my call on wednesday..she leaves a voicemail and makes fun of me for getting my voicemail and just to say hi I text thursday to make plans for saturday...no response I call friday early evening to see if saturday plans work for her...she says she has plans already and apologizes for not responding to my text. Told her I'm off on business for 2 weeks: 1 week in the US, 1 week in Europe and said to her, 'let me know when you're free so we can hang out.' She said maybe we can meet up for happy hour sometime...(I mean happy hour?) <---I honestly thought that was the knockout punch but I could be wrong Should I move on with life? If not, should I contact her while she's away? How do you think I should approach this? I really appreciate your advice
xpaperxcutx Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 She paid for the bill on the second date? She's not interested in pursuing a relationship. Her actions are subdued, and she hardly seemed enthusiastic making dates with you. Move on.
