he asked me out for a third date, but haven't heard from him yet

ok so i met a guy at my friend's party and we hit it off. we danced, talked alot, he asked for my number and walked me home and hugged me. he called me a day later while he was skiiing to ask me out for a date. we went to lunch talk alot and he asked me out again right away. well we then hung out three days later and he asked me if we could hang out again that friday and that he would call me. we haven't kissed yet and no really flirtatious touching and we talk on facebook every once in a while.

 

well today is friday and i have not heard from him. has he lost interest? does he think that i am not interested? did he forget and am i making a big deal out of this? i'm not sure what to do because i like him.

Well, I think if he asked you out on date and then never called you, unless he's had a personal emergency then yes, he's blown you off, or lessened his interest completely.

 

If I were you, unless he calls with a REALLY good excuse, Id walk away from it. Who needs to be treated like that, right?

Yeah, not following up on a prospective Friday date is a real no-no. Stuff happens, but then an apology call is in order. Monday would be my timeline. If not contact, then sayonara

He's not interested.

He could've thought from the beginning that there might be something between you guys, but his interests has since lessened and now he chooses not to call you because he's coward in not wanting to a face a confrontation.

 

Give him at least two days to call and make it up to you, but after that, I don't think you should hope to hold on to any hopes.

Maybe he does have other things going on, but he should take the time out to call and let you know of them. Otherwise, if he said he was going to call then he will call you if he is interested. Rejection is never easy to accept, even if you just had one or two get togethers, but move on.
