JW69 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I've been dating this guy and we we're having a discussion about what were pros and cons to each other. I told him I thought he talked a lot that he sounds like he's always trying to sell himself to me. Then he said "Yes, I do talk a lot but I know that what I'm selling you is real or at least what I need you to accept as being real." What would you make of his reply if it was said to you? I found it a bit odd and I'm struggling to interpret what he meant by the last half? Advice ...?
StrawberryLime Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 It sounds like he's not really living in reality? Haha! Or he's asking you to accept his reality, and not what may be actually true. It's a confusing sentence, to be sure. Maybe he just misspoke and misstated a bit and meant that he wants you to understand him and how his mind works. It's pretty vague. Maybe it would be a good call to ask for clarification.
