sex and the ex

my ex and i have been split up for a little over 3 months , my doing but regretted is soon after but 3 weeks after the split he met a married women at the bar and she left her husband and kids for him , so within 3 weeks of our break up he had a married women living with him, he contacted me all the time i think just to rub it in, telling me he still loved me and missed me but would never trust me again as far as not leaving him because of the alcohol. so this has gone on 3 months we've seen each other a couple times but nothing has happened, friday night he called me and wanted me to go over, i was a little leary not knowing where she was but against my better judgement went, we talked, he cried and said the same things over and over, apparently she was at her sisters for the night, well one thing lead to another and we ended up in bed together, i tried to stop it but have missed him so much that i really didn't try that hard, he had done this to me also with an ex so i 'm wondering if this is a pattern of his. the minute he gets alone he calls the ex to see if he can still have his way. i left early that morning and he called a couple hours later saying 'this is between us right', i felt like the biggest piece of crap ever, coming from a man who told me he would never talk to me again if i started dating anyone, which in the past couple weeks i have been seeing someone and he knows. yesterday he saw me and i left the store he must of turned around to come back to talk to me but by the time i saw him i was pulling into the guys house i'm seeing. so now i'm afraid he's never going to talk to me again, one because i did sleep with him and two he saw me going to this guys house. i wrote him a letter and left it in his car today at work, i don't know if i'll hear from him again but i'm just really hurt and confused the stronger i get it's like he senses it and drags me down, i want to tell her so bad because she took away something that was mine and she supposedly was going to leave her husband for cheating now her new bf did, should i tell her and try to get him back or would that make things worse, i'm devastated all over again, i thought he would at least call after he got the letter but it's been a couple hours and i haven't heard anything, how can anyone be so cruel??
