Normally the weekends are a bummer if you've broken up, been dumped, or just plain STILL obsessing about the ex.

I decided NOT THIS WEEKEND!!!! I am determined to have fun, stay busy,

and for the next 48 hours...I promise I will NOT obsess or let his memory

interfere with my life....

Anyone who want to join the thread...lets only discuss all the great things

WE are going to do. No ex talk allowed this weekend!!!! :) You can resume that on Monday!!

Tonight I am going to take a nice hot bath with some wine...

and watch funny movies all night!! Then tomorrow I am doing

extra work at the office, then going somewhere nice for dinner.

No plans for Sunday yet...but I am working on it!!!

Great thread!

This afternoon, I'm off out for a spot of late lunch with friends at a fancy restaurant and this evening I'm going to the movies to see "Atonement".

Tomorrow, I'm shopping for a new outfit in the morning, a haircut in the afternoon and opera in the evening - Mozart's Don Giovanni. :bunny:

My weekends are just so much more productive now that he's gone! :)

I had great plans to go out with a gf tonight- the whole dinner and dancing thing.... so I picked her up at 8:30, and by 9:30 she was so drunk with wine that I had to drive her home, carry her to her bed and end the evening early...lol.

I did watch a funny movie though.

Tomorrow night I am going to see a friends band play in this awesome clubbing Village in my city called Hess Village. That should be fun.

Sundays are always the worst for feeling lonley- so I made plans with a friend to take our dogs for a hike.

I have to tell you- a great cure for the ex blues is SHOPPING!!

I shall be hitting the mall this afternoon.

Good POst.

I'm really proud of myself -- last night I was really missing him and wanting to contact him, but instead I sat down and wrote a grant proposal for my next book/film project! Turns out I've gotten pretty speedy at writing proposals over the past few years, which makes me feel like I've learned an important skill. I'm not holding out hope that I'll get it, but at least I applied!

Today is yoga, and hmmm, don't know what else yet exactly. More writing and grant research probably!

I'm going into the city tomorrow and to see a play.

And I joined a Yoga class. Sedgwick- you always speak so highly of yoga. It made me very curious and motivated to maybe give it a try. So this week- I saw a class was being offered, and I said what the heck. It starts next week. Silly me (but it makes me happy)- I'm excited to treat myself to a "yoga" outfit and a mat. :)
