Precious K Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 what comes after "'like"? I mean when you first meet someone you crush on them. After you begin to like them. Later on its love right? Like my crush told me he more than likes me now. He said "te quiero" in spanish. I'm not good at spanish does that mean he loves me? I'm breaking my head... help! Thx
norajane Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 te quiero does mean I love you, but it takes a very long time to actually develop real love for a person. It doesn't automatically come after a crush or liking someone. If he 'more than likes you', he should be asking you out on dates, getting to know you better, starting a romance. If he's not, he's just playing, or, at best, flirting, but has no intention at this point of getting to know you on a level where developing love is even possible.
Author Precious K Posted February 21, 2008 Author Posted February 21, 2008 Thx NoraJane He does want me to be with him. Im just unsure about him. Because he developed feelings way too quick for me. And Im protective over my feelings now. He wants me to be "his baby"... its sweet and all but Im not sure if I even love the guy. Well I know I dont love him but I care about him alot.
xpaperxcutx Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Te quiero in a lighter context means " I want you" but it can also refer to having affections for someone. Regardin how far along you guys are going, I don't think that you should rush into a relationship too fast. Take it lightly. Generally it should take from 4-6 months for a person to fully "love" anyone. That's my take on the matter.
Lucasarts Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 it means i want you it doesn't mean i love you, its how we would say "i like you" in english dont worry, if he said, "me encanta a ti mi amor" that would be a different story
Author Precious K Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 Ive known this guy since Jan 1st and its been a lil crazy. He's like a girl in a sense with all these different emotions. I believe its too crazy for love. He calls me "amor" and that he is a very jealous guy. He needs to let me know everytime I go out to be sure not to get touched by anyone. "it means i want you" He said its more than "I like you" and all that went through my mind was oooooh no no no!
Lucasarts Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 hmm sounds like someone who is in love for the first time. . . (the guy you're seeing that is) sorta scary, maybe you should let him know that you're not feeling the same in that sense you don't want someone who needs to know/control your every move in order to feel safe and secure about you (means hes got trust issues and doesn't know how to deal with the very well)
Hoffle Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Wouldn't it be funny, if he falls out of love and you fall in love with him? Ok, that's not funny.

But he just makes this complicated. Wouldn't it be funny, if he falls out of love and you fall in love with him? Ok, that's not funny. lol... youre funny! I hope that never happens if I ever feel like that for him !
Mary3 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I smell TROUBLE I would not persue this guy any longer and let it be known you are not his amore' , his love or anything else. He is rushing this but my biggest concern is that you said he is * jealous * I would move away from this one because he could become a nut job and stalk you..
