Hey military men and women,

 

Please help me understand what runs through one's mind when deployed in a war zone. I'm having a hard time understanding what's in my friend's/ex's brain these days (long story). His whole personality is just...odd.

 

We talk and I think I just have no clue what he's going through. (I have no idea what the future holds for this relationship, btw, but I'm still trying to understand him anyway.)
