peace_pipe Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 For those of you who have been following my saga, you know we recently had a huge blowout. She told me never to call her again... 2 days go by and last night she calls "To tell me thanks for using my credit card to order her a new license since she lost her wallet." We ended up talking for about 1/2 hour. She claims that is the only reason she called. I know better... what do you guys think? I don't plan to talk with her anytime soon, so don't give me the third degree for that.
jerbear Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 She'll call you again! Maybe not tomorrow but maybe next week, next month, next year.

Kamille Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 ooh stay away Peace Pipe. She is showing that she is human and can therefore be wishy-washy. She obviously doesn't have enough moral rectitude to be with someone like you, someone who always knows right from wrong and never changes his mind, or regrets anything, ever ever ever. And thanking someone for doing something nice for them. Who does that?

And thanking someone for doing something nice for them. Who does that? OMG... I don't know where that came from. I actually apologized for blowing up at her during that call. Did I get one from her? No. I suppose I just woke up that day (of the blowout) and said "I want to piss off my GF." I was simply asking what you guys thought about the meaning of the call. Where did I ever say that I am on some moral high-horse? I've accepted her faults, but don't I have a right to set some boundaries? Like when we have a disagreement and she brings up her feelings for her ex! Yes, she is human, but at what point does she take my humanity into account??

I also wanted to mention that she told me (before i blew up on the phone)... "I never cared about you and it was just sex..." Now I apologized to her for blowing up after the fact... but she is fixated on my reaction (I am a dickhead) and does not seem to understand why I was PISSED. Come on now...
Author peace_pipe Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 Kamille, I didn;t mean to scare you away. What do you think about my response? Anyone else?
