I mean i know theres no hope for me but i am just genuinely curious what could make girls miss what they had. Or if they are out with friends every weekend does that just put out the flame. Its been 3 months and i know shes not coming back and im not going to make any effort i just wanted to know what would make a girl come back on her own.

(Which I suppose could apply to women or men.) Then I would go back to see if/how there is a chance for a fresh beginning. Sometimes, it seems like misplaced pride that prevents people from owning up to, and trying to correct prior errors made due to lack of clarity, wrong assumptions, cloudy judgment, insufficient knowledge, etc. Other times, it is that the original decision proves to have been the right one all along.
prisonbreak Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 2 reasons for me for wanting to get back together after I left. 1st was loneliness. I was so lonely, I had to call and see if something could be rekindled. 2nd was, I found myself in a worse relationship and all of a sudden the previous boyfriend looked way better. I wanted back what we I had sooooo bad. Those are my only 2 reasons for going back after I broke it off with these guys.

In fact, their unwillingness to do that is what lead me to make the decision to leave in the first place. In one of the relationships that I left, he came to me and said that he was ready to make the relationship work. About a month later, it was back to the same old thing again.

Actually, #1 would make me reconsider, cause I think it would be cool to date a musician...that's hot!!! LOL Seriously tho, if he dumped me and I was all sad and wanted him back, he could be scooping up dog dung for a living, I'd be like, "Awe, look at how cute he is, i want him sooooo bad."

In my situation, I initially cheated on my then-boyfriend with a man...at that time I was convinced that women should not marry men they were in love with - I won't even go into that. I left this man because I fell in love with him. I went back to my then-boyfriend but it didn't work out - because I didn't love him. My then-boyfriend moved back to the UK and I contected this man. He was hesitant at first but I pursued him and we got back together. Took about 3 months. We've been together over 2 1/2 years now.
