Interesting that you have a lingerie shop. I wonder, is it easy to tell if a man is a MM shopping for his W? His mistress?

Have you ever seen a man buy two different sets in different sizes? Whole new perspective on killing two birds with one stone.

Also, is it always or sometimes assumed that a cash-paying man is a MM shopping for his OW?

Oh I had the same Qs in mind! Thank you for asking, WF. :)

I met a girl socially who had a part time job at Ann Summers while she was studying. She told me it was pretty obvious to tell if a man was shopping for his W or OW. Men shopping for their Ws were usually went straight to the display they wanted (or straight to the counter to ask for directions) when they came in, didn't browse, and asked for assistance only if they couldn't find the item straight off. Men shopping for their OWs on the other hand browsed, asked for recommendations - particularly between new products - and advice, were more open to new lines and - especially - spent more. They also tended to slip their purchases into a briefcase rather than walking out with those Ann Summers bags that scream "horny man just out buying naughty stuff" whereas the men shopping for Ws tended simply to fold the bag over (easy when it just contains one pair of lacey knickers, even in xxxl size) and tuck it under their arms. All seemed to prefer paying cash, though I suspect for different reasons...

She said she'd approach the men suspected of shopping for OW and say "your girlfriend will really like <insert product here>" and they'd always look up brightly and say, "do you think so?" and get into discussion on this vs that. Men shopping for Ws if approached would say pre-emptively "do you stock this in white? My wife thinks black looks trashy" or such as if to prevent her (the assistant) from mentioning "girlfriend" in relation to them, as if someone might raise a questioning eyebrow or get any ideas!

She was no doubt exaggerating - to make for more amusing anecdotes at the dinner table - but it did have a couple of the men present squirming embarrassedly!

MM and I have lunch pretty much every day during the week. He likes to say that I'm his best friend. He had let me know last week that he would be leaving work early on Wednesday to go to a show with the family and not be at work today. When I realized it was Valentines Day it made me feel like absolute crap. He did see me yesterday and give me a small gift but to know that coincidence or not the day he was off and with the family is also Valentine's Day makes me feel so used by him, I get to give him all my love and make him feel good and he can go on living a lie today about what a great husband and father he is.

I realize what a fool I am on day's like today...

You know, there's nothing stopping you from going out and living your own life. It's all totally your choice. You choose to give him your love and make him feel good. He takes NOTHING away from you as a person... unless you let him.

So sorry InvisibleGirl. I do feel for you.

On most days I try to focus on all that I am getting out of the R but today I felt similar to you. I did see him and it was wonderful but he scooted off earlier than usual and it just felt sad to me. All that getting ready and all that worry of being seen/getting caught for just a short time. It already feels like centuries since this morning.

I should add that he made it as wonderful as possible for the time allowed.

WF, do you think his W is suspicious? Did he act nervous today?
