Hi all!

I just have a quick question.

How long does it take/is is possible to get your ex off your mind?

My ex dumped me just short of two months ago (after two years) and there has been no contact since. The break up was very bad and he caused me ALOT of pain! On the whole I was treated badly (although it took me a long time to realise it. My heart was ripped to shreads. He was my first love.

I am at the stage where I know now I was treated badly and I don't want him back, yet he is still on my mind every second of every day. I also still feel panicky and upset all day long and my heart beats really fast. Will this go? I would love to get revenge on him for what he did but that is a bad idea right? I want more than anything to just let him go and be able to move on with my life!

Thanks :) Any feed back would be really appreciated!

Hi!

I don't know how long it takes to quit thinking about them 24/7. It has been 4 months for me and he is still all I think about. So I am not sure myself.

I don't know about Revenge. ;) But I have thought about it.

Hi, I think it takes everyone there own time frame to get over an X..some perhap's more than other's. When you start to feel indifferent is when you will be free of him. I would take the high road here and forget about revenge, you will be the bigger person for walking away and simply letting go! Hang in there!

For the revenge part... I guess it depends on your personnality before. You've most probably already taken revenge on someone for something they did (be it in a relation, at work, or brother/sister.) If you felt good afterwards and didn't regret it, then go for it! Else, if each time you took revenge you ended up wishing you had held your arm back, that's probably what will happen again this time... That's why I won't take revenge myself, I've always regretted doing that sort of stuff afterwards!
