EYECANDY000 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Women! Is this true or a myth If you are not on your menustral cyle and not due to start for like several weeks, is it true that when your breast are tender and hurt its because they are growing? And your not pregnant either!
redsoxfan84 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I'd say it depends on your age, I wouldn't think they'd grow much after puberty. They are tender before your period because you are retaining water, so that might have something to do with it, too.
SeraBella Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I don't know. I've never heard this before, and I don't really remember mine ever hurting growing up except for when they're sore from my period. I'd say no, but I have no idea.
AriaIncognito Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I'd say no as well. I think it's just wishful thinking on someones behalf that having them be sore means they are growing. Unless you are posting about a teenager, anyway. They get sore at different times during a woman's cycle, that's more than likely all it is.
Darkzen Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 My ex used to have tenderness (due to growth) on certain birth control. She'd fluctuate between a C cup and a D cup, depending on the BC she used.
shadowofman Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I think it's more of a swollen tenderness then a "growing" pain.

And your not pregnant either! Could be fibrocystic breasts. http://womenshealth.about.com/cs/cysticbreasts/a/fibrobreastdise.htm
