LIVEWIRE Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 This is actually a very interesting thread. I heard this from a man who had been married for more than 50 years, asked what was his secret to a successful marriage.. his reply was: "We never fell out of love at the same time" So I think it IS normal to not feel love for your partner sometimes..because as the OP said.....emotionas come and go. BUT...as long as at least ONE person IS in love and still trying to make it work there is always the chance of it coming back. I think when BOTH people give up...it's over.
Author Haohmaru Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 i wasnt yelling? What, are you asking me? What the heck Haohmaru! Where do you come up with these things? yes i do have peace of mind. and i know how to maintain it. Umm... seems like yelling to me...I'm gonna go cry now...in the corner... :bunny: And the poster above telling us that marriage has little to do with love, but more with friendship...more evidence that love acts like any other emotion. It should be treated as such. Lot less heartache. And yelling.
