Maxi Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 As some of you may have read in my last post... my gf's best friend moved to our city about a month ago... For the most part it has been great! However the amount of time they have been spending together has started to annoy me! I live with my gf, however I feel asthough I never see her! She's been spending 4 nights a week with her... staying at her place at least two of those nights. On the other nights we are generally really busy with work stuff.. or I see a friend. It was fine at the start because her friend was settling in... but after 5 weeks its become a bit annoying as I feel she should of settled in by now, insted of relying on my gf! Im fairly sure my gf is oblivious to the way it is making me feel... so my question is should I make a point of it? Or should I just let it go? Thanks for all your help!
blind_otter Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Talk about it. Don't make a huge issue out of it, or a "point of it." Communicate in a nonjudgemental way. Don't accuse, point fingers, or bitch. Just indicate that you've been missing her and would like her to reserve more alone time.
allina Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Start out with something gentle like telling her "I've missed spending evenings with you recently" and see what she does.

Your gf is most likely unaware that you miss her and feel neglected.
