Lauriebell82 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Hey everyone. So the other day I was driving home to see my bf and I got a citation from this a-whole cop for driving at an unsafe speed due to weather conditions and riding in the left lane. It was total B.S. and it's going to cost $108. So that was the money I was saving for to buy my bf's v-day gift and for his bday (which is March 8th.) I told my bf this and he is being understanding. So what are some inexpensive v-day presents that I could get my bday and for his birthday as well. Last year I made him these "love coupons" that I made on teh computer and he absolutely loved them. I don't want to get him the same thing again, but does anyone have any other ideas of something else I could get him?
Author Lauriebell82 Posted February 3, 2008 Author Posted February 3, 2008 hot sex is always free. LOL, well that's a given of course. I would like to do something special for him though, I'm just not sure what.
HokeyReligions Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Home cooked meal and ownership of the TV remote? Foot rub and some other pampering that is not necessarily foreplay? Sex with no foreplay? Pork rinds, cheese nips and a night out with his friends? Wash his car? Think outside the box of what he likes and some kind of work you can do for him that he doesn't like to do for himself, but has to do.
blind_otter Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Oh! How about an hour long full body massage with happy ending?
Author Lauriebell82 Posted February 3, 2008 Author Posted February 3, 2008 Oh! How about an hour long full body massage with happy ending? Wow that is a really good idea. I actually have this really sensual massage oil. He loves to be rubbed as well, so that would be perfect. I just feel bad I can't spend any money on him, but he says he understands.
pisces fish Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Oh, yes, that a-hole cop, how DARE he try to make the roads safe from people who couldn't give a rat's about the weather and are not smart enough to realize that in adverse weather conditions, driving at the speed limit 1. is against the law and 2. most importantly, is DANGEROUS to DRIVERS. I abhor people with attitudes like yours. Again, please don't become a therapist. I strongly BEG you. Second, your boyfriend is the one who is the a-hole. He is the one making 50,000 and you are a starving student and he bitched because your parents gave you $500 for your Christmas present to pay for school items. Sorry, he's a douchebag. Now he has you feeling that you need to be saving up for his goddamned V-day and birthday presents. He knows you are a starving student, you shouldn't have to be feeling like your boyfriend is going to be upset to be not spending oodles of dollars on an extravagant present. He should be happy with a loveletter and a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese dinner (if he loved you, which I really don't think he does.) PLEASE for your own sake realize once and for all that your boyfriend is an ******* who places too much on who pays for what, he is a total ass and should be treating you like a queen and worshipping the goddamned ground you walk on. I hope you're not paying rent when this guy makes this much money. He isn't asking you for rent, is he?

Art_Critic Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Make him a card.. Put some thought into it..and then throw in some phrase that you both use on each other into the card so it is really customized.. I have last years VD-card still sitting inside our entertainment center that my wife made for me when we were dating.. It says " I want you " on the outside of the card.. that is our phrase...
Carmen87 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 It sounds like you have been together for awhile so I suggest a present I did one year. What I did was got a 3 ring binder and I put pages about different things in it. On a couple I wrote about our best memories together, funny times, and jokes. Another section and photos of us together. There was a page "10 things I love about you" and another was a "love letter." You can really put anything you want in it.
gonetildecember Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Its quite common around vday so im not sure if you've already considered it, but what about a picture album/scrapbook.. of u know the last year in pics or things you've done. - you can get a little album, add the pics, stickers, inlude a handwritten note or something... that should only cost you around $10 if you budget well.
allina Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I like the idea to wash his car or make him his favorite meal. Also you could clean his apartment while wearing a sexy outfit I'm against the ideas of scrap books for Valentines gifts for boyfriends. A scrap book is cute, but more of a thing that a girl or grandma would like, not a grown man.
