There will be a Valentine's Day Party, for singles and couples, in my city. This party will, undoubtedly, be grand.

Given the fact that I don't expect (& don't think) men will hit on me, as I have come to realize very few men approach me and all flock to every other woman, I'm going into this party to have fun and feel good (not to hook-up or be swept off my feet). What advice/tips should I keep in mind?

2nd: What should I wear? An outfit that's bright, dark, sexy, casual, or sophisticated?

3rd: Would it be a wise idea to bring a guy with me to the party, or a bunch of girlfriends will do?

All Advice/Suggestions are welcome.

Since it's also a couple's party, consider taking a friend with you. Just so that you will not end up standing alone. So if the guy is a friend, take him. If he is someone you are interested in but haven't dated yet, reconsider. It is a date type thing and in this scenario you are either a couple or a single, which is a little too much for a first date. Also, if you take a guy your chances of being approached are far less than with your girlfriends. Personally, I'd take the girly girls and see what happens at the party. Or mix it up, bring both the guy and the girls.

For the outfit: Well...what skin type are you? How does your hair look etc? There is really no way to tell what would work best on you. :p Basically you should wear something that makes your feel good, that is not too different from what you would normally wear to a party (if you are usually very elegant, a miniskirt and tank top could make you feel out of place). Not too casual. Maybe get a new hair style.
