TMichaels Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 MEL914, Yes, lots of people in this forum have met and/or continued their LDRs on-line. For some it has worked out great, for others, not so much. ... just came back from FL today stood there for a month saw her every weekend had the best time of my life with her. now i plan on making her my wife and she wants the same plus a baby and so do I. How great for the two of you that you got along so well in real-life, MEL914. However, even though you got along famously, keep in mind you were only with her a month, and from what you've said, that was only on weekends. My advice to you would be to continue to find ways to spend more time together and see if how things go. Being with someone 24/7 is a lot different than short visits or getting to know someone on-line. I'm not suggesting the two of you move in with each other per se after one initial in-person meeting -- but the more time you can spend together, with each other friends, families, etc. -- the more true picture you'll be able to get of each other and whether your relationship can go the distance, so to speak. Best, TMichaels
