JimMorrison Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 After 1 month NC, I decided to text the ex. I simply said 'Hey' she replied a few minutes later 'Hi...Something Wrong?' She seemed like she was still a little angry, but I think her anger was diffused. 'No, everythings swell, just saying hi, and hoping all is well' 'Everythings great...hi' 'Glad to hear! if you want to play Guitar Hero or something ill be in the area this weekend' 'Im real busy all weekend wont really be around. Thanks anyway' 'Aight thats kool, maybe some other time. Go Giants!' So I left it at that. Since she didn't tell me to bugger off or since she didn't ignore me, maybe she is coming around? I'll wait to see if she contacts me in the future, now she sees me friendly and non pressuring. Im not going to read to much into this, just glad that I was able to hear from her.

To be honest, this is just my interpretation, but I think she might have just been civil/pleasant. She didn't ask how you were, she merely responded to you and the 'Everything's great...hi' sounds a bit awkward to me. You need to stop contacting her. If she wants to come to you, she will. You've let her know that the door of communication is open. DO NOT contact her again. If she wants you she'll get in touch, but you dont know if she will or not, so you need to move on.
Author JimMorrison Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 Yeah, I know. I do want her back but she was rather curt with me in those messages. I let her know the channels of communication are open. She'll be the next one to make contact hopefully, but I am alrite without her. I'd just rather be alrite with her than without
Art_Critic Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Just so you know... NC is no contact.. you don't just wait 30 days and then contact.. because if you do then you are not doing NC.. I've just quickly read and gone over the threads on this girl over the last month that you have started and all the advice given is almost always aligned with NC.. Start NC again and let this one go.. She was just being cordial to you and if she wants to get in touch with you then she now knows that you would come a tail a waggin'. Sorry your contact didn't work out in your favor.. I have been in your shoes exactly before and wished it had gone differently too..We all have... Chin up... things will get better
