It is just the same for me as looking at a pretty painting. Same, but I find his face more oddly fascinating than pretty. Also, there's something creepily asexual about him.

I didn't understand his appeal either until I saw him in a televised production of Oklahoma! about a year ago. Made me weak at the knees. He was also sexy in The Prestige. Oh yes, Bale and Jackman, together, being manly and devious. The Prestige movie was for me what the Barbie twins (some of Hugh Hefner's gals) are to the average male Playboy "reader" :lmao:!

As an example, someone who thinks "The Rock" or Hulk Hogan is sexy will conjure a very different personality/lifestyle/personal aspiration projection in my mind than someone who finds Jon Stewart or Conan O'Brian sexy. I will imagine 2 completely different people, and probably not be too far off the mark, in general ways.

Ocean-Blue Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Ohh! I like this topic very much. I fell in love with James McAvoy after seeing him in The Last King of Scotland. I've seen trailers for Atonement and love him a little more. I'm not a big fan of smallish men with delicate frames, but this guy has it going on. His voice is lovely and he exudes this quiet confidence that I can't resist. After I saw him in Of Mice and Men, I became a total fan of John Malkovich. Sure he's balding/bald and a bit older, but the man's voice is magnetic. He made Conair a pretty decent movie (despite Nicholas Cage's strange hair). This is one man I'd love to have dinner with. Eric Bana is also mucho hot. *fans herself* I saw him in Munich and almost died (maybe it was because I had to watch that pregnant love making scene in the presence of my father and brother). I also loved him in the Hulk. From all accounts, he seems to be a great father and very nice guy. Plus, I'm a sucker for men with dark hair. Edward Norton is also a hottie. I found his character in Fight Club to be far more interesting (and sexy) than Pitt's character (although he did look damn good shirtless). He seems intense and broody at times and light heartened and fun other times...that man is complex and I like it! That's all I can think of (for now). I need to go cool myself down now.

He was very sexy in Dangerous Liaisons, too. Although Colin Firth played the part in the original. Can't choose JM over Colin.

That Russian accent is very nice (as was his nicely slicked back hair and dark, broody eyes). This is a movie I definitely want to see. I wasn't a big fan of his before...but now, I dunno. A man who can switch b/w accents is hot in my book.
