calicomorgan Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Ok, I will try to keep this short: So, there is this guy that is an IT/manager type for my company. He came to my project here in the ATL to help us out with some of our computer problems. Well, the first time I meet him, he starts teasing me right off the bat before I even know his name. Ever since then we have been teasing each other and joking about almost ever thing(work appropriate or not) I am starting to like him more and more as I talk to him but I am having a hard time telling if he likes me. Last night he offered me a ride home but my step dad got done right at that time so I couldnt take it. Today he offers me a ride home and I am able to take it. Of course we are joking the whole ride home. He tells me that its rare to find someone that is matching wits with him and that he is single and he doesn want to be. The thing is that he never asks me out or for my number. I think I have caught him checking me out several times. I am so hopelessly clueless when it comes to guys. Does he like me and should I ask him out? HELP! I dont have much time... he goes back to his project in about a week. Sorry if this was long.
Mistaken Identity Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) It sounds like he likes you. But why don't you let him ask you out--even if it takes awhile? I asked out my ex on the last day of a job that we worked together. That way if he rejected me I wouldn't have to see him again. Maybe your guy is going to do the same? Author calicomorgan Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 well, i will wait to see if he asks me out but i will give him my number so even if he doesnt ask me out then we can still talk and be friends while he is back at his other project....
Author calicomorgan Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 great...now my mother has just informed me that he is coming over for dinner this week.... yay.... not
Phateless Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Why is that bad? Maybe they're trying to help you along. Any chance you have to spend time with him is good.
Author calicomorgan Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 no that gives my family a reason to embarrass me. My step dad already does enough at that at work with him around.
